Kim Groves Named 2025 Goddard School Director of the Year

Sunshine Education Group is proud to announce that Kim Groves, Regional Director for four Goddard School locations across Greenville and Simpsonville, South Carolina, has been honored as the 2025 Goddard School Director of the Year by Goddard Systems — the highest individual recognition in The Goddard School franchise system.

The award recognizes directors who demonstrate exceptional leadership, a deep commitment to educational quality, and a lasting positive impact on their school communities. Kim was selected from a network of more than 650 Goddard School locations nationwide.

A Career Built on Excellence

Kim joined the management team at The Goddard School of Simpsonville (Harrison Bridge) in 2007 — and has grown alongside the schools she leads ever since. Over nearly two decades, she has expanded her role to serve as Regional Director for four locations: The Goddard School of Greenville, The Goddard School of Greenville (Pelham Road), The Goddard School of Simpsonville (Five Forks), and The Goddard School of Simpsonville (Harrison Bridge).

Under Kim's leadership, all four schools have built strong reputations for educational excellence, family engagement, and faculty development — consistently operating at high capacity with families on waitlists.

Elevating the Broader Goddard Community

What sets Kim apart is not just the performance of her own schools — it's her commitment to lifting others. Kim launched regional collaboration calls across the Southeast, creating a platform where directors across multiple markets could share best practices, solve problems together, and grow as leaders.
